The King’s Return by AH
Thierry Henry has spoken out and told SkySports that he wants to return to Arsenal for a 3rd time, whether it be as a player or a coach.
The Frenchman is quoted as saying;
“I would like to go back to England with Arsenal for sure.”
Thierry is an example of someone who truly loves the club and someone who appreciates his worship. Henry is loyal to Arsenal, despite no longer being a player for us, there is no doubting that he would jump at every chance to become part of this club once again.
The Arsenal record goalscorer would no doubt love to score another few goals for the Gunners but, as he is almost 35 years old, I cannot see a playing return happen for the King. So it looks like he will be stuck on 228 goals for the club, the last one being a 90th minute winner against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, after the FA Goals Panel ruled Henry’s goal against Blackburn as a Scott Dann own goal.
Henry has said on numerous occasions he would love to come back to be part of the Arsenal management team and I think it would be fantastic. Imagine Henry as manager with Bergkamp and Adams as Assistant Managers. Simply the best! We can all dream, just like Thierry, dreams of a return to Arsenal, but as fans we must focus on the challenge ahead and cheer on this current Arsenal team to do the very best they can.
Henry once famously said;
“Arsenal will be in my blood as well as my heart. I will always, always, always remember you guys. I said I was going to be a Gunner for life and I did not lie because when you are a Gunner you will always be a Gunner. The club is in my heart and will remain in my heart forever.”
