Arsenal striker and South Korean international Park Chu-Young has revealed he is unlikely to leave Arsenal as there have been no offers for his services.
There was some speculation linking the South-Korean to QPR after it was spread they were to unveil a South Korean, but he has now obviously quashed those rumours.
While Park has maintained good performances at international level, he was very much a peripheral figure in the Arsenal squad only amassing 6 appearances (only one league appearance) and netting a solitary goal last season, ultimately never really getting the chance to prove himself.
Park is quoted as saying by Goal.com:
There’s no progress. There’s no offer so I have nothing to consider.
If an offer comes, then I’ll consider it. Right now, I don’t want to think about Arsenal [as he's focusing on the Olympics].
It is clear that the South Korean is looking to leave the Emirates and would be, to put it bluntly, the best move be for the sake of his international career.
While there have been no offers as of yet, good performances in the Olympics could prove to be the publicity he needs to attract offers for his services.
